An Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of trustees for the Port of Hong Kong.

Be it enacted by the Governo of Hong Kong with the advice and coagani of the beginïabive Comeil thereof, as follows:-

Short Title.

1.

This Ordinance may be cited as the Hong Kong Port Trust Crainance, 194.

Interpretation.

Defined in Codurance No. 31 of 1911

(a) "Chairman' means the person for 3 time being discharging the functions Chairman of the Hong Kong Port Trust.

(5) "Dock" includes all basins, cuts, quays and wharves and any warehouses, tramways, railways and other works and g erected on or appertaining to any dock.

(c) "Master" includes every person (sxcept a pilot or officer of the Hong Kong Port Trust) having commud or charge of any ship.

(a) "Owner" When used in relation to any goods includes any consign or, consignee, shipper, gent or lien holder for the sale or custody of such goods; and when used in relation to any vessel includes any owner pal owner chai verer, consignee, or mortgagee in possession thereof.

(e) Pior includes any stage, stairs, landing place, jetty, floating barge or pontoon used for the purpose of lending and any bridges on other works connected the re- with.

(f) "Pilot" means any person for the time being licensed as a pilot under the pro- visions of any enactment in force in the Colony,

"Port" mesas all those parts of the waters of the Colony which are tidal and includes all that part of the Shores of such waters to which the waters ordinat reach when the tide is highest and includes any lands, buildings, docks, piers or other works from time to time and at any time vested in or controlled by the Trust.

(h) "Ship" includes any description of ve seel used in navigation not propelled by oars, except junks or oreha not propelled by team.

A

(j.) Trustees" means the trustees appoint- ed by or under the provisions of section 3 of this Ordinance.

( j ) "Trust" means "the Hong Kong Port Trust" as constituted and incorporated under the provisions of this Ordinance.

The following words shall have the meanings
